Hey, I'm Emma

A few years ago, I relocated here with my family. What started as a temporary contract slowly turned into a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Started
Moving to Switzerland wasn’t in the cards at first. As with many overseas assignments, it started as a job chance and soon grew into something far more significant.
The opening months were hectic— fresh procedures, new habits, high expectations. Routine tasks seemed more challenging than usual.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, uncertainty, and plenty of hands-on learning. Gradually, routines took shape. We found places that fit us, connected with other families, and began creating something that felt steady.
Why I Built Crest Summer Novel
Most online resources were either corporate relocation guidance or shallow tourism content. What was lacking was a genuine, everyday family viewpoint.
This site aims to bridge that gap — practical guidance rooted in real life in Switzerland.
